When Ray gave me the Passages workbook, I thought that's very kind but I don't think I will use it. I felt like I knew everything, after all I worked in the business (so to speak) for 20 years. But, I have to say that this has been a great guide. My stepchildren used it when they were writing the obituary. I have used it many times, and have now made a list of all the things I need to do. Heirloom Passages is a book that is thoughtful, insightful, and a wonderful resource for families mourning the loss of their beloved one. It is one of the first books I have read that addresses each aspect of the difficult reality of losing someone close to your heart. It provides not only valuable information about planning the steps to your loved one's funeral, but also allows the opportunity to remember your loved one by utilizing the book as a scrapbook for your final memories. It is truly a book of valuable information. It is a guide, a resource, and an extension of all the memories a family shared of their loved one. Heirloom Passages is written very professionally, but yet with much sincerity. The author is not someone who wrote this book purely out of research, she wrote this book out of a personal experience knowing how difficult it is to deal with the death of a loved one. I felt her sincerity portrayed in this book and appreciate the information in it and the gentle way it was formulated.

Heirloom Passages is such an amazing product. I was able to memorialize my grandmother's memory in a beautiful and organized way. I feel that now future generations in our family will be able to share in her life and how she has impacted us all. I only wish I had the resource guide when we lost her.
